One of the best ideas we have seen recently is bringing the sport of surfing to the landlocked masses.
Growing up, we have always loved the water. We spent countless hours in a pool and enjoying the amenities of the time (small waterslides and diving boards). Spending summers in California during college, we dreamt of what it would be like to be a surfer, with two major problems.
Problem One: I was born in Nebraska, a landlocked state.
Problem Two: Saltwater and riptides scare the daylights out of us. Surf pools solve both those problems.
Right now we’re working with some people pursuing bringing surfing to the parts of the country that have only dreamt of waves.
